We were entrusted with the project to redesign a swimming pool and an unfinished house that was still under construction. The main objective was to reconfigure the functional layout of the space, with the swimming pool as the focal point, complemented by supporting amenities to serve the community’s recreational needs – such as areas for enjoying pastries and coffee.
sawadeesign approached the pool design by dividing it into two distinct zones: a standard pool for swimming activities and a shallow pool suitable for children. These two areas are seamlessly connected through an artistic waterfall feature, which acts as a visual focal point and provides a soft transition between zones.
The architectural language is shaped by randomly placed cylindrical volumes, varying in diameter, height, materials, and function. This composition not only allows for a flexible division of functions but also maintains a cohesive and visually harmonious aesthetic.
The overwhelmingly positive reception from the community after the project’s completion brought us great joy – a meaningful recognition of our creative efforts and a small but proud contribution to the overall success of the project.
