2020 was a turbulent year with so many unexpected changes for all of us. Not an exception ,Sawadeesign and the investor together “fought” a lot to survive through this situation and continuously make effort to produce results in this difficult time.
Donquixote is a project in a series of challenges created out of that upheaval. The project is designed and constructed for nearly 1 year. With the desire to bring a completely new feeling of experience in the nightlife industry in Dalat, Donquixote has formed.
The project is inspired by the battle between Knight Don Quixote and Windmill in the fields of Montiel. The project’s space and materials have been rudely recreated in the closest and most intimate way around the battle.
The project’s location is also a very special thing. We decided to place Donquixote next to the famous golden wall of Dalat. In our concept, we want the battle between the knight and the windmill monsters not to end, but always complement each other to develop together as a symbol of the “fighting” strength of each Vietnamese in this war against COVID-19.
