The An Cafe project at the Aeon Mall Xuan Thuy branch in Hanoi is the latest design by the Sawadeesign team, offering a space that is both modern and deeply infused with Vietnamese culture. A special highlight of the space is the traditional pavilion roof, with its simple yet elegant lines, combined with a “layer” effect that creates depth and openness.
The pavilion roof is not only a standout architectural feature but also creates an open, relaxing space, ideal for activities to take place underneath. Right at the entrance, the image of a banyan tree and well is vividly recreated, evoking the atmosphere of a Vietnamese rural village, inviting customers to step into a space that feels both familiar and refreshing.
The materials used in the project are carefully selected, blending modern and traditional elements, helping the space stay in line with contemporary design trends while preserving a sense of depth, warmth, and intimacy. The overall design creates a harmonious and unique space that fosters an emotional connection with its users.
