An Cafe – Khuc Thua Du Branch is the latest completed project by the Sawadeesign.
The design concept throughout the space draws inspiration from Dương Ổ , Phong Khê, a traditional paper-making village in Bắc Ninh, known for its unique craft of producing Dó paper.
Dó paper, the key material, is reinterpreted through fluid, layered forms that bring a sense of lightness and elegance into the space, expressed in a contemporary language. The interior elements are inspired by tools and objects used in traditional paper-making, creating a subtle dialogue between heritage and modernity.
The outdoor area features tiered seating, reminiscent of old communal spaces where people would gather, rest, and connect , evoking a sense of nostalgia rooted in local cultural habits.
